How do I add Scheduling Notes to a Job Request?
It may be necessary to record notes about the services you are scheduling. For example, the client's primary pet sitter may be unavailable for some of the requested services, so you need to reach out to back-up sitters to check their availability. It might be helpful to document this communication (or scheduling history) in a notepad associated with the job request.
Scheduling Notes can be added to scheduled service orders, as well as to job requests in an assigned order. By using Scheduling Notes, administrators can record the progress of the approval of the requests. These notes are free format and would typically reflect the history of the scheduling/approval process for that particular type of work.
To add scheduling notes to a job request in an assigned order:
navigate to the Job Requests page
click DIARY & SCHEDULING, then JOB REQUESTS
or click the red job requests box above the DIARY & SCHEDULING tab
click on the assigned order in the right-hand column
To learn more about assigning job requests to an order, see Assigning Job Requests to an Order.
click the SCHEDULING NOTES tab
enter your free-form notes in the notepad
click "Update Notes"
The Scheduling Notes associated with the job requests in the assigned order will appear on the Scheduling Notes tab, and on the main Job Requests page. To edit the Notes, click on the Edit icon to the right of the note on the Job Requests page, or click on the Assigned Orders in the right-hand column and navigate to the Scheduling Notes tab.
