<      Service Requests < Adding Scheduling Notes to a Service Request

It may be necessary to record notes about the services you are scheduling. For example, the client's primary pet sitter may be unavailable for some of the requested services, so you need to reach out to back-up sitters to check their availability. It might be helpful to document this communication (or scheduling history) in a notepad associated with the service request.

Scheduling Notes can be added to scheduled service orders, as well as to service requests in an assigned order. By using Scheduling Notes, administrators can record the progress of the approval of the requests. These notes are free format and would typically reflect the history of the scheduling/approval process for that particular type of work.

ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Scheduler > Schedule > Service Requests

How do I add Scheduling Notes to a Service Request? 

  • From the Service Request processing screen, click on the blue link for the client's assigned service order that you wish to add a note to.

  • OR a shortcut from the service processing screen is to click on the "Notes" icon.

STEP 2

We can see there is a problem with Linnet being unable to perform the client's services, so you may wish to record a note of the action taken.

  • Click “Order Scheduling Notes”

STEP 3

  • Enter any notes you wish to make into a Notepad. 

  • When finished, click "Update Notes" to save.

STEP 4

The Scheduling Notes associated with the service requests in the assigned order will appear on the Scheduling Notes tab, and on the main Service Requests page. ​

 

  • To edit the Notes, click on the Edit icon to the left of the note on the Service Requests screen.

        ON MOBILE

 

STEP 1

  • Navigate to Scheduler > Schedule > Service Requests

  • Tap the mobile navigator to access the menu.

  • From the mobile navigator, tap the option "Order Scheduling Notes".

  • Enter any notes you wish to make into a Notepad. 

  • When finished, tap "Update Notes" to save.

STEP 6

The Scheduling Notes associated with the service requests in the assigned order will appear on the Scheduling Notes tab, and on the main Service Requests page. ​

 

  • To edit the Notes, tap on the Edit icon to the left of the note on the Service Requests screen.
